(It sounds basically like how television sounds in a movie where the room the television is running in is recorded. Compared to the G930, the G533 has quite a muffled/dull sound with its factory settings. When installed on your system you should see a program called "Configure G930". I just recently got my new Logitech G533, after my G930 basically were hanging on by a thread. Deleting this folder will prevent the LGS from re-asserting control over the headset once you install the right software and drivers. Perform a lobotomy on LGS by deleting the 'G930' folder. In the 'resource' folder find the folder called 'G930'.Go to the location on your computer where LGS is installed.Go back to your device manager and uninstall any G930 headset audio drivers if you see them again.Go to your device manager and ensure your headset drivers are uninstalled. It does have some presets but if your application isn't in the preset you're S.O.L.Īfter installing the software all of my issues went away. What it doesn't do is allow custom macros being bound to the buttons. Installing the above installs an older software suite for the g930 that correctly handles most of the functionality of the LGS. So I needed a solution that kept the LGS but prevented it from controlling my headset. This solution wasn't great for me because I also use a G110 and a G700s and I love my macros. That's right, 100% of my problems were related to the LGS and the LGS alone! I eventually got to the point where I uninstalled the LGS because everything worked great without the LGS for me. Contacting support, going to terrible versions of LGS, changing the battery interval, nothing worked. I tried everything on forums to solve the issue.
